The FlowCentric BPMS and Windows Vista

During the last year or so, FlowCentric has worked extensively with Microsoft to ensure compatibility with the Microsoft Windows Vista platform. FlowCentric, one of a handful of ISV’s that participated on the Vista early adopter program, is committed to building on the Microsoft technology stack and are always keen to leverage new tools and technologies when and where it makes sense and as always to the benefit of customers. This early adoption of Microsoft technologies raises the bar in terms of security, extensibility as well as stability and gives the company more of a competitive advantage in the market place.

Although industry adoption of Windows Vista seems to be slower than expected, it still is a great platform to leverage. There are significant changes required for Windows Vista compatibility all of which can be seen to benefit to customers, partners as well as FlowCentric itself.

FlowCentric will continue to support new platforms as exposed by the Microsoft corporation and have already started building support for Windows server 2008 (previously codenames Longhorn) and SQL server 2008 (previously codenamed Katmai) all due during the first quarter of 2008.
